MemberAlonso showed a hell of a lot of maturity in holding a 2sec a lap faster Schumi back to win the race. Definitely, something to learn here. Alonso drove very cleanly without doing anything dodgy.
Doing the same at Citykarting would be even more challenging given that karts are not affected by the bad aerodynamics of following another car like F1 cars do.

Member
Fazz,
If you dun buy this kart – I wun forgive you…..the price is okay fvor the set-up quoted here. Chassis is not the latest type now but was popular in the early 2000. How many hours have the engine clocked since re-built ( if it was rebuilt before….)
Aiyaahh brudder… don’t do this to me…. argghh.. *struggling to maintain control*
I am interested… Munib – bro, you want to share with me?

Member
dunno lar Fazz, but that’s what he said..
the track will be a good track that can be used for international competition….but now, Sepang Go-kart track is under KartQuest management…
Fazz, I know.. the Shah Alam track is better to 2 stokers karters.. even Rotax Max can’t reach climax in xtreme park…eheheh…
Well if the rumoured Bukit Jalil track is up to international standards, then this is great news! Another track for my-KART to go to! Also – if Unker Richard also builds another track in Shah Alam… great!!
Interesting that Kartquest is now managing Sepang. Will they bring their 100cc karts there (currently stored in Sunway)??
As for Xtremepark… don’t talk about rotax max cannot reach climax… 100cc also kenot.

Member
May be Kartquest move to somewhere in bukit jalil…
new track may be… but it’s a rumors laaa…
for me… the track is getting bad especially outside the apex..
there are a deep hole there when the drifter try to catch their front tires to the apex.. erghhh !!
You are closer to Rj Razman… where in Bukit Jalil la? Will the track be suitable for 100cc karts as well? Reason we are only racing at Shah Alam is because it is safer for 100cc karts. ExtremePark is too dangerous for amateur 100cc karters.

Member
My-Kart running it’s own circuit (Grins with Fazz) Anyhow, yeah that Uncle Richard or something. Heard the track is already running. Must be a reason they are running. Maybe Uncle Richard is up to something…
myKART may be interested to run its own circuit – but that idea is just too far away.
More updates about the second Shah Alam track please.
very bad indeed. u can even find a big swimming pool a corner before the finish line. better wear ur swimming trunk..(girls, wear ur bikinis) instead of ur racing suit!…mmmm…don’t forget ur gogles too! u might find colourful fishes in there!!!! kuang! kuang! kuang!
That is bad. I guess the closure is just a matter of timing.

Memberbro – you are right about Peugeot and Citroen pulling out of WRC. But I don’t think this will be anything long term. The man is a rally driver and a rally driver he shall remain.
I hope he does well in Le Mans.

Member
3 kart track? whatever happened to the track in Sepang? They seem to be closed all the time, but it’s still a good track.
I guess the only way you can have it work is by having somebody full time there like those of Shah Alam, rather than have some part-timers taking care of it. I feel bad for those people who drives all the way from shah alam, KL and lembah klang are to Sepang only to find out that they’re closed for the day.
Agreed that Sepang could be better managed. It is not a good track, it is a GREAT track in my opinion. Very flowing. It is wonderful to drive on with a 100cc or 125cc kart.
In the end it is really about having full timers managing these kart circuits.

Quite possible within the realms of the myKART vision. *grin*

MemberIt will be a great shame if all of this is true, and that XtremePark will be closed down. At one point we had 5 kart circuits in the Klang Valley, and now potentially down to 3 (Shah Alam, Sepang and Elite)… but even Elite is an unknown quantity.
Would anybody know if Raja Razman plans to move elsewhere?
TheFazz
Memberdon’t know, but will check.
