MemberSo far I am happy with the Drupal CMS design. It is by no means perfect, I must say… though, for perfection I would have to learn and script in PHP & mySQL. Alas I am not expert, so I am happy with the functionalities available in Drupal compared to say the various Nuke distributions.

Member
damns.. like that ive been destroying the kart (need your advice fazz on how i should drive on saturday)
i was literrally destroying the karts clutch on round 10, never once lifted off the throttle, just used my brakess to slow down, and continue flooring the throttle to keep the revs up….part throttle still tak cukup to sustain the revs during braking….kart ffeels sharper anyway by using both pedals….
Waaahhh… this one like Schumi lor…. whatever works for you matey. You were quick in round 10.

I think the fastest myKART time done on the 80cc at Shah Alam (CW) is 1’09”. For this to happen, you need to have everything working in your favour. I am not sure whether the person was a 75kg-er.
To stop oversteering whilst cornering – simply brake earlier. 😉
Best way round the track is slow in fast out. Getting on the gas early is crucial especially if you are entering a long stretch. Braking technique is also important as well… minimum time on brakes with maximum effect is what is required… and in many corners on the 80cc you can take without braking.
Just try to avoid skidding and spinning wheels… you lose a lot of time that way.

MemberJoey – I am sure there will be a seat available somewhere.
Hey Steward – the MyME event is getting very popular! Must talk to Citykarting to see how many teams may run at the same time.
TheFazz
MemberJoey – the enduro event is more less fully subscribed, although some teams are short a driver or two. So I guess, if you send a note to steward, he may try to place you with an appropriate team.
In terms of timing, yeah 1.10 is about the fastest time… although I seem to remember seeing a 1.09 somewhere. Don’t be discouraged though. A few sessions with some of the regulars, and you’ll get up to speed very quickly.

Memberrazmyn – not sure where Santini is myself.
but if you are coming from KLGCC/LDP turnoff, you need to turn left at the traffic lights/flyover. You then proceed on towards the open car parks. Souled Out is there. please give me a call if you need further help.

MemberBangsar / Hartamas / Mont Kiara is fine.
Got to check pricing though.

MemberI don’t mind the old karts as long as they prepare it properly. If they neglect any maintenance and setup, then that sucks.

MemberUdi
I think they are still short one driver. Perhaps you could send an email directly to Edy Hazry (backmarkers) or Nazim (Mee Fook Yew). I don’t have their numbers.

No… no where near Schumi… I lift 80% throttle….. so only 20% throttle while braking. :p

MemberFor the moment, teams are limited to 12 based on the numbers of karts that citykarting has available. Neverthless, put your team name and drivers down on this thread first.
