I am no expert, and I think this is a personal style preference. But perhaps Jedi Master Jules may correct me. 😉
My style is to lift off (about 80%) the throttle and brake hard (about 1-2 sec depending on speed and corner) just in time before turning… (usually twitch the back end a bit with tiny steering input) >> then lift off the brakes, and steer the kart into the corner aiming for the apex. After the initial steer, I tend to start feathering the throttle towards the apex, always trying to straighten the kart through and after the apex so I can get on the throttle earlier.
Given Razmyn and Siew Weng first responded to the reclassification for Tail Happy Racing… I consider them as my new two team members.
So:
TAIL HAPPY RACING (total weight = 260kg)
1) Fazz Rahman (68kg)
2) Stanley Tai (66kg)
3) Razmyn (68kg)
