The my-KART Mega Endurance (“ME”) series enters into its 3rd year in 2007. “Privateer” teams have the chance to race against each other at tracks such as Shah Alam, Elite USJ and Sepang on the 100cc karts. Team PC Net Comm are reigning champions. Which teams will be challenging them?
The plan in 2006 is to run 6 rounds of the my-KART ME series. The key is teamwork and consistency throughout the whole season.
Details of the event is as follows:
date: Saturday, 17 March 2007 time: 0900hours **don't be late venu: Elite Plus Speedway / 100cc kart: using Kartquest's 100cc 2-stroke karts fees: RM640 per team duration: 2 hours inclusive practice
Refer to the 2006 standings (5 rounds).
Agenda for the day is to have testing in the morning, and karts tuning thereafter with the race starting at around 12pm. Each team will need to ensure that the karts are ballotted, ballasted and setup properly before the race which will be later in the day. So please allocate full day.
0900 - 1000: team registration, weighing in & ballotting 1000 - 1030: Team & Driver Briefings 1100 - 1130: kart preparation 1200 - 1330: my-KART Mega Enduro Race 1500 - 1600: Refreshments and prize giving
Each team will need to do the following:
- form a team
- nominate team principal and assistant principal (team principals should only enter the same teams as prior enduros)
- the team principals are both not allowed to change teams – we should avoid a proliferation of teams in the enduro championship
- the team will score points only if one or both of the principals are participating
- the team principals shall select the drivers (4 drivers total including principals)
- driver minimum weights: male, an average of 67.5kgs per driver and female, an average of 57.5kgs per driver (eg. if team has 4 male drivers, total minimum weight must be 67.5×4 = 270kgs… if team has 3 male and 1 female, then minimum weight must be 67.5×3 + 57.5 = 260kgs)

Sorry, I just saw this forum and I noticed that the date of your second round was changed from the 24th to make way for the Rotax Max. If you guys haven’t heard it, please take note that it will be held at Sepang and not Speedway, due to homologation issues.
Of course, I’m not putting this note because you now have Speedway free, but just to make sure you guys know (if you don’t know yet, that is) where to turn up to support the Rotax Max! 😉

as of today looks like the response is not going to get any better than the current teams showing interest. so far:
tail happy racing = 3 + 1 drivers
team aliens racing = 3 drivers
pc net com = 2 drivers (azmee now uncertain as kenduris to attend)
gila racing revival = 3 drivers
i spoke to amri and azmee. many folks are outstation. azmee prefers to cancel as turn out is too low (only 12 drivers at best).
i was considering two options:
1. cancel / postpone – revisit Mega Enduro vs IC3 decision
2. run as individual / paired drivers. still low turnout as well
i need some quick response from the ground to help me decide. my preference is option 1. please let me have your views…

Ashraff Dewal quoted that “Due to the unforseen circumstances, team members of Gila racing will not participate in the first round of the enduro. However, the absense of Deanna Yusoff due to commitments with the all famous “stare” in Cermin, I will be driving for Tail Happy racing.” This undoubtedly will provide the team not only the much needed skill but the equivalent male version of the missing celebrity.
