Spoke to AP just now and he mentioned that we might get Rotax Junior instead of PRD if he could get it and ontime before mid of Nov 07.

If it is, it will be good to have the K1 event again just like last year’s with J&W factor thrown-in again. 😉
but it’s a nice track for sure, though i find a disturbing lack of tight corners.
Try it on 100cc and above karts bro, turn 3 & turn 7 (especially turn 7) could turn out to be killer corners.

Turn 1 turns out to be Azlan’s favourite corner where he had tested out the strength of the tyre barrier. Oouuchhh!
They were that way because they were meticulously maintained – the main thing was that you could hardly ever feel a difference in the handling of the different karts.
How I wish the rental karts are maintained the same way here. *sigh* 🙁
When the kart rental operators are lazy (like most are, and pretty much all places in Malaysia) the alignment is never checked and parts are only replaced when they break and cleaning of the karts is unheard of you get karts that are way off any kind of setup.
That’s the typical scene here.
Tell them the problems, the usual answer are : ya kah? it is like that one, you all drive properly then we don’t have these problems loh!
Or they pass the buck around and say “I don’t handle these things” 🙁

Really hope that I could join in more rounds next year.

Count me a seat whenever I’m participating.

I prefer Elite track more to CK track, more technical and variety of topography.

Favourite of all tracks —> Sepang karting track

    For 100cc karts –> Raja Razman’s

Bro Naza & Luen, when want to do the 100cc chicken wing run at Elite?
They still rent the 100cc karts to the privilege few like us? 😎

Can’t comment much as I haven’t seen the track condition lately.

But as for CCW, I don’t have any problems with this and I somehow find I clock better lap times in this direction. 😛
The only dangerous part that I find is the right hand hairpin after coming down the start/finish straight.
Let us check it out this Saturday as some mykarters will be doing chicken wing runs for track familiarisation.
Feeling very jealous lah (in Vietnamese = cam thay ghen ghen) with all these familiarisation lah! chicken wing runs lah! secret training lah! apa lah! ;( Miss the smell of fumes greatly! 🙁

Maybe the return of Team NOVICE (THE team to beat) will spur the interest of the endurance race again! 😛
