Participant
I’d say the drive to shah-alam is more dangerous than karting at shah-alam, crossing a road on foot in the city is more dangerous than karting at shah-alam.
Exactly what Jason & I tried to explain to our management when we put in our proposal for a budget to start our company karting club. Our proposal is shot down as they deem karting is too dangerous. sigh!

Pssst!. was there anyone that looked like jais hanging around …..banyak rindu woh!
Aaahhh! Just what I mentioned in pitstop forum that you will be facing “Karting Withdrawal Symptoms”, hands trembling already kah?
The pitstop forummer admitted he is already addicted and went a quick round at CK 1 hour before buka puasa yesterday just to lepas geram.
He said he is not too worried about JAIS though! Why? Scared your kart is rusting away or the engine will seize with no lubrication after hanging in the garage for 1 month?
No problem, bro Patrick is here to solve your problem. Pay Chong the track fee (RM180/- now) and I will warm-up your kart for you loh! :). No worries, I will sacrifice my time to help you solve your this problem here FOC! 😀Nohad
Participant
Went to Elite track this afternoon hoping to improve my line after reading Mikko’s tips but it is still closed 🙁 Proceed to Sepang instead and found they have 2 very good condition 100cc kart there. The brakes and grip level are really awesome and first time I could feel really confident into the corners. The kart stays straight even when brake hard, unlike many that I have experienced in the past. Most of the components looks new but there are no numbers.

Difficult to cari makan in the next endurance race lah like that when team Heavies already started their off season testing.

Participant

Bought a cheapo helmet last week from Bali that has a Snell M2000 and DOT sticker on it… does that mean it is not even Snell 85?
Check inside the helmet/on the chin strap etc. to see if it has a SNELL sticker.
Ya loh, check carefully and see whether it is SNELL or SNEIL oh!

Participant
Hi guys need some help here as where i can find a good place in KL (do not include pertama complex) to custom design, spray and airbrush my own helmet?
Preferrable with address and location. Would be appreciate if someone could provide details and info about it. Thank you.
I did thought of buying a white helmet and airbrush the helmet but I was told that the paint will spoil the helmet and therefore put a HOLD on my plan. Any feedback on this matter?
There was an article about airbrushing about a week ago on the papers but I couldn’t remember whether it was in STAR or NST.

Participant
Winning against owners of Corvettes, Porsches, etc is always a nice feeling ain’t it? Next time drive a kancil to the track (if you can find one) and show them what Malaysians are made of.
Moral of the story is : even with the best tool, it doesn’t make you a good handyman.
I believe Etihad is flying to KLIA next year right, so got good chances of participating in our races lah.

ParticipantThis experienced by my friend but he is a bit lucky though. My friend approached XXX brewery company for sponsorship and he was sponsored RM20,000/- worth of beer.
He has to look for a pub to take all the beer in order to exchange the beer for cash and he was lucky that a high volume pub bought the beer from him. Some companies don’t have the policy to sponsor you in cash but in kind.
