Below is my 200VND worth point of view :

    Technology Park Malaysia
    http://club.my-kart.org/node/2844

Won’t be much an impact by attracting spectators as it is away from the crowd. 🙁

Lake Garden – Only guessing the layout because of the trees
    http://club.my-kart.org/node/2843

Nice choice but the track is bumpy as reported.
The location didn’t attract as much crowd as expected in 1996 when Malaysian rally held a SS there. (Even with Colin McRae + the other world class drivers) 🙁 ;(

    Kota Raya
    http://club.my-kart.org/node/2842

You will having 1/2 of Klang Valley folks cursing you for the traffic chaos caused by closures of the main roads (eg. Jln Tun Perak). Take Tour of Langkawi as example but that has the national backing.

    Jln Alor
    http://club.my-kart.org/node/2841

Good choice! but the route need to be changed to avoid closure of Jln Sultan Ismail & causing 1/2 the Klang Valley folks cursing at you.

I would suggest using the Jln Alor, turn right into (what’s the name of the road?) and come back thru Jln Tung Shin.

    Berjaya Times Square
    http://club.my-kart.org/node/2840

Will be nice if could avoid Jln Pudu.

It helps a person like me who could not attend a full season but would like race whenever I’m around during the race series.

Junior Max is a good option for me becos I could have my son running on it too. Since the kart would be hardly run during my absence, I would not like to have the power valve of Senior Max sticking while taking it out for a ride.

I believe using transponder is the best option here.

Hmmmmm….. looks like I’ll be missing most of the endurance series for this year too. 🙁

On the request of Naza, below are the proposed dates for the endurance races.

Since my-KART round 1 series has been postponed to 12 Jan 07, we don’t have alternative dates in January 08.
16 Feb 08 is for IRONMAN Endurance Challenge.

    Proposed dates ;

    Round 1 – 15* March 08.
(*15 is on the last weekend of 1st term school holiday)
(**22&23 is the Sepang F1 weekend)

    Round 2 – 24 May 08* (*1st day of 2nd term school holiday)

    Round 3 – 19 July 08

    Round 4 – 16 August 08* (*1st day of 3rd term school holiday)

    Round 5 – 01 Nov 08

    Round 6 (GRAND FINALE) – 29 Nov 08 or 6 December 08
how much total charge for bringing own kart from CK to sepang ah? any figure?
Why need so susah-susah, buy a Mitsubishi Triton to solve the problem ma. Can bring ur kart to anywhere in Malaysia & don’t need to worry about transportation cost! 😉
Note: current k2/100cc charge is RM160 (for members), so maybe charge RM190.00 for the k1/CRG/125 category…?
RM190/- is a steal! NO objection.
Point 2 : my-kart enduro : RM 700 – 800 for 2 hours track time…….someone please confirm this..!I believe we may want to propose CK to charge as for previous 100cc enduro?
RM700-800 is for the 125cc? If it is, fair enough for me.
Point 3 : my-kart members practice sessions, RM RM 400.00 for 5 session voucher. RM 90.00 per session for walk-in (no voucher).
Note: AP proposed that for practices, 125 Senior Max to be use as well. My-kart has no objections to this.
A bit stiff on the long run but if you want better quality product, it doesn’t come cheap.

(alternative is to buy your own kart ^^ ;))
let’s collect data from 2 hours endurance racing at this coming 1st december.
I’ll book 16 Feb 08 with CK for the event for now.

Details of the race to be discussed further.

Bear in mind, the cost per person could be easily above RM200/- per person.

    Considering 125 if available?
