Participant“For some maybe but not for me. This is the most interesting round for me so far this year. Was having a lot of dog fights from Q1 to final.”
great dogfights definitely give more satisfaction than driving alone for 7 laps, even though its a good position like 2nd or 3rd. nothing beats the joy of winning obviously :p …bila ni….

Participant“As for me, i had a frustrating day. Whilst Q1 went my way, Q2 was a heart breaker. After leading comfortably for much of the race, the kart failed on the very last lap with 5 turns to go.”
Fazz…looks like my bad omen went to u this race.bad luck!!
from the comments here, looks like it was a round to forget.siewweng
Participantcool! thanks

Participantso rm1000 x 6 races, plus an “ok-ish” rm5k chassis
so thats like rm11000 for 6 races…does that sums it up?

Participantis there a way to send messages to members who are online here?
just like a simple “shout-out” kinda thing….siewweng
Participantalthough i am not participating this rounds enduro, i think rm175/pax compared to rm160/pax is a tad too expensive. where does the rm15 go to? more trophies, prizes and refreshments?

Participantinconsistency of “x new comments” link
for example, a new topic has 4-5 replies to it, so when there are new comments, it will still be in page 1. when u click “2 new comments”, that link will bring u straight to the latest comments.
but, for topic like ‘enduro’ or ’round3′ with clearly has more than 20 replies, the replies will continue to page 2,3 etc. when u click “2 new comments”, that link WILL NOT bring u straight to the latest comments. it merely goes to the top of page 1 of that topic. i was hoping it will go to the latest comments too, regardless of where the latest comment is located.
fazz, is it somethng wrong with my browser (mozilla firefox) or its the settings of this website. thanks!

Participantbeesstt…
looks like if u wanna go fast in an indoor track, really need to get the rear end to slide around…
great stuff!
thankssiewweng
Participantahhaha… im not disappointed at all!! the foreign ones emphasize too much on safety, hence their karts are heavily welded with protection bars, making the karts which are already so heavy even heavier. its 4 stroke too, so its pretty boring.

In all my years of fun karting worldwide – only one track in germany requires drivers to slow down when the yellow LIGHTS around the track are flashing. It is an indoor track so you cannot miss all the beacons flashing & rotating!
[/quote]
thats demoralising. u wont see me bothering to wave 1 anymore.
the funkarting place i regularly go in melbourne is really state of the art. there is a tv screen that shows each karts lap time, position and karters name. the track is heavily fitted with warning lights. u must slow down during yellow light as the marshalls will really tell u off if u dont. he will just ask u to stop at the pitlane, lecture u.
its outdoor btw.siewweng
Participantbesst!! will be joining u guys for the visit too then!!

Participanta question about yellow flags. i was helping out with the marshalling at round1, i noticed 2 drivers were overtaking right in front of me, while i was waving the yellow flags!!
is the yellow flag a permenant feature? or due to lack of manpower, it can only be used at the corners near the pit/garage….

Participantwhat time on the 21st?

Participantinteresting idea, but thats not gonna convince me to wake up a little earlier for pole position :p
i feel the current seeding system is very fair.probably the early bird element can be added to the kart selection process? currently karts are allocated to us randomly. i would love to have the liberty to choose my kart if i m early 🙂
