Participanti think under 6 secs is do-able… super splash and go. i cant seem to find the database for pitstop times, f1-live.com used to have it… disappeared already i suppose.
its refuelling that takes up the bulk of the time, since filling rate is regulated to 12.1 litres/second , the tyre change can be done in less than 6 secs.
fazz.. probably the can of VB is chilled in the kangaroos pouch 🙂

Participantfazz, i thought your 4 x 45 minute/driver enduro is pretty good , with 3 x 1 hour (or 4 x 45 mins sprints). that way, each team get to use 3(or 4) different karts.
but it will just lenghten the duration and if timing system screws up, its gonna very messy.i like that idea, too bad cant try it 🙁

Participant8 seconds?
half of the stops nowadays are less than that.. as 3 stoppers take less fuel, hence shorter time spend in the pitstop.i think rubens and pitcrew did a 6.9 or less at monza last year…

Participanthe will spend his time at the far end of the grid, ahead of minardi. he is driving a jordan and the immediate team ahead is probably RedBull. not expecting him to do wonders…..
unless u put him in a renault and fight with sato, thats something …..

Participantone great track in my opinion… kerbs are gentle, nice drop in gradient, and the odd last corner. best part is the nice lap timing system. citykarting can probably buy that equipment and install for this saturdays race!!
i doubt i’ll enjoy 4S karts on citykarting, as the 2 long straights will take an eternity to complete. didnt see what engine they are using though, 9hp or 6.5hp hondas?

Participanti find it hard to follow rally…. prefer on track wheel-to-wheel racing, rather than point-to-point single car race.
hoping subaru will do well though.

Participanti see… ok ok

Participanthavent been there with friends for quite some time already..so forgot how the time sheet looks like.

Participantso there will be 4 drivers x 45 minutes driving time each?
can make the starting grid a little more interesting too, all 4 drivers make a single lap qualifying lap each, and the combined time will decide the grid.i just happen to remember about the previously mentioned ironman race in sunway…is it still on???
