Participant
I just saw this last night on the registration page: “** fees are RM100 for newcomers to my-kart (80cc or K3 class) – club members get RM10 discount.”
How can I be entitled to get this discount?
Also, do my-kart members get discounts if we go there on days other than my-kart race days? Just wondering coz that will definitely encourage members to introduce karting to more ppl :)
Just register as a Kelab my-kart member and pay membership fee (RM 120) and you will need to pay only RM90 for every K3 race. Also, you are entitle to purchase City karting’s 5 sessions 80cc voucher at RM 125 (public pay RM150) and RM 250 for 5 sessions 100cc voucher (public pay RM 300). Just show your my-kart ID to get these discounts at City Karting.

Participant– All newbies joins the K3 group by default.
However, don’t underestimate the quality of drivers currently battling it out in the forthcoming races. K3 drivers are eligible to apply for transfer to the K2 group after completing a full season in K3 preferably. The committee will be looking beyond fast lap times and in fact will look for very good driver race ethics, sportsmanship and almost incident free record.– Allowable Race wear as follows:
Long sleeve T-shirt and jeans (alternative to personal race suits)
Sneakers but no slippers or sandals allowed (alternative to ankle high race boots)
Gloves (if you have a pair)
Helmets (complimentary helmets provided at the track, if you don’t have one)naza
ParticipantHi Kamal,
Rd 3 on March 6th and for all remaining rounds are open to all from battle scarred otais to green horn beginners….yes! you are most welcome and do drag your friends along (if you have to..). As a rule, beginners will run in the K3 category and later to K2 and K1 after earning your chicken wing stripes.
No racing suit is not an excuse for staying away from rd 3. In the interest of safety, as a minimum wear long sleeve top and long pants are a must.
Finally, please write your name to confirm participation in here….http://club.my-kart.org/node/3539

Participant
Race directors/marshals should keep an eye out for these things…. Include it in safety briefings….
my-kart always do safety briefings and we can always do with some help from all participants to remind anyone not complying to any safety rules.naza
ParticipantCongrats to the final magnificent 7 selected and this is just the beginning. Kudos to TTR for their contribution to grassroots motorsports.
I will say this again: those who did’nt make it should not despair and instead join the my-kart club race series in the new season (2010) and you will be amazed yourselves at how good you are and in a very short time too.
Fyi, there are other racing teams who prefer to lie low and keeping a sharp eye on new talents like yourselves….and that’s why you must show yourselves in my-kart races.
Come and join Rd 10 this weekened for a start.

ParticipantCongrats to short listed drivers. To those who may not make it into the last five, despair not! Its a long process to be competent racers and certainly not after any one particular race.
Alien Racing Team (ART) wish to return to the racing community its outstanding race knowledge and experience to anyone who is committed to motorsports in particular karting. The best proof to this is to participate in Kelab my-kart Selangor’s driver race series for the new season in 2010.
Register your interest when you visit Alien Racing Team in facebook.
The first step is: ….dont be shy!
