Alamak! My elder son’s age just over the cadet class age and the younger son, alas, has got no speed at all.

But however if Naza Finance Bhd is willing to finance with a soft loan, then there is something to think about.
Bro, only the Home minister aka Financial Controller can approve financial matters…….I’ll have to check, banyak susah lar……huhuhu!

Wow!, thanks a million to the committee for reviewing the results and also to team Tail Happy Racing for being such a great sport. This is indeed an unexpectedly very happy moment for team Aliens. As for me, there is always something to learn and reflect whether win or lose…..and still learning after every race.
Azlan already contacted me and have made the appropriate arrangements.
Already looking forward to the 3rd MME……….!

Steward, we all should really say thanks to you and others (wish i knew their names)who has done all the very hard work (some more no allowance ) unselfishly. As a result, most if not all had their fun filled weekened. The 5 secs flag off for each team (Rally style) in order of the heaviest first and the lightest last is a brilliant solution yet. This also made it easier to monitor as the race progresses as the weight penalties has been dealt with at the start of the race.

Well, some has already asked about the 3rd MME at the end of the race. So when ahh?

The last race sounded very artificial. Can you hear gear change? & the engine sounds more like a multiple cylinder 4-stroke engine.
I forgot to mention this. Yes you are right, they used a different sound track, not the high pitch whining sound of a kart engine, more like those NASCAR that runs on Daytona!
Thats Mr Hollywood as always trying to create bigger than life dramatics. Luckily, we have my-kart which is real ….they have only to visit our website and er…. Rizal or some of us would have accepted some roles…..with helmets on of course…*grin*
Hi guys!
    anyone went today?
pls do tell some report or news about star-kart event?
I was told that Rizal and Razak participated. There were 10 drivers with one 15 qualifying laps and one 15 laps final race. Razak said he finished 3rd and Rizal said that my-kart events were far more fun. Well, I hope these guys will tell us more……the fun and no fun part as well.

    Comrades,
From a personal viewpoint, paying RM90 is just too little for 3 races, racing with friends (not much friends in AAM sanctioned races), electric atmosphere, a championship (add some prizes too) and the comfort of an ambulance; man! thats an unheard of deal so far ….StarKart wants to do better? …yet to be seen. And dont forget, the organisation (this website and forum included) and management effort (..someone is up before the sun does) and skills behind it? Wow! I would consider myself lucky for not paying double. Perhaps, I spoke too soon….??

However, I could see Azmee’s points as a concern to mykart with regards to potentially scaring away some funkarters (exclude diehards) due to rising costs. I would encourage Azmee to explain to his group of karters the mykart FUN + VALUE factor versus just merely as walk-in karters… as we all should to others.

The troubling thing is some of the words are exactly the same words I had used. Somebody has copied myKART’s concept and ideas.

I have no problems with more and more karting groups being formed, although there is a limit to how many groups we can have before the community starts to fragment back again and the disunity will do us more harm than good.
Bro, I would’nt be too worried about this phenomenon… its the usual IPR copycats in Malaysia. We must keep the headway that mykart has garnered over the years. All we need to do is to keep nurturing the mykart spirit and proceed as planned. Say, I would look at it as a stronger motivator for mykart to progress at a faster rate. Wonder where would their Round 1 race venue be…..

    Friend,
Most of the time (exclude monsoon months) it pours in the late afternoon. Most practices will commence at about 11 am till about 3 pm. Its a bonus if there is no rain after that. Am I right to guess that you would normally go to the track at 3 pm or later?

Avoid at all cost any wheel to wheel contact which may cause the following kart to flip over the front kart.

Wai Leong ran with his young drivers on Sat afternoon, I overheard him mentioning that his lap time was 56 sec.

Only 56s? I thought he was doing 55s and 54s. At least thats what Ah boon and Ah Low said. Maybe 56s was his time on that particular day perhaps.
Just got an email from the Pan Global guys asking me to join the kart race this sunday 27th march 2005 at sunway kartquest. Then straight away i called them up as soon as i read the email. Know what guys!?..for those who have raced last year if u wanna compete this year, the fees is rm200! Really nuts! N the karts there like s**t! I really can’t believe it paying rm200 for a 4 stroke kart and u r struggling hard to the finish line…ha ha ha. Anyway, my-kart did an excellent job, price r reasonable…!!
Any mykarter made it into the top 5 Q Finals in the 2nd round at Sunway last couple of weeks?
