Participant
Team, please fix a price. Thanks
I am ok with 600 per team / 4 drivers = 150 per driver which will include trophies, medals and light refeshments.
Umbrella ladies are NOT included for now (Auntie, how?)
naza
ParticipantSure, we will do the same……trophies and medals plus some sandwichwes and water….afterall this is the Grand Finale! We will wait for Luen to propose some more details on this subject including race format and rules.
Dare I say this,…….Luen and I are seriously thinking about a my-kart Iron Man Race to be slotted in November 2007, since there are no races in that month before the Dec 1st Grand Finale. It will be a 2 driver team running the 80cc kart for 2 hours! ( sorry, we dont think the 4 driver, 2 hour race is challenging enough for the hard core my-karters…hehehe…jangan marah ye). Of course, we are not expecting 20 teams for this….but than there are not too many hard – core karters around,…..I stand corrected!

.. in heat 1 i suffered a crash in the first corner and fell all the way to 23rd place but managed to finish back in 16th place……
…… i crashed right into the metal barrier and totally totalled my kart and maybe even engine.. but thankfully no major injury was suffered..
Das,
Sounds like its really a tough weekened you wanna forget quickly but before you do, try to recall and think what would you had done better if given a chance to repeat those situations….I mean, if you can do some analysis. Also, glad to know that you did not picked up any major injury. However, I am quite sure that you will be a much stronger racer in 2008, compliments from the experiences gained in 2007. Hey! this is only your rookie year dude!……good job!naza

sounds ok. although the RM500 per team works to about RM250 per kart per hour… which is significantly lower than the A1TM and MAAU events i believe. are we ok with this?
Wan Shin for some reason mentioned to keep it at RM240 so as not to so call “spoil the market”. I reckon the higher cost for MAAU and A1TM could include other things like some refreshments or prizes for instance?
Can someone who participated in those events confirm this.

Participant
yes Fazz understand where you coming from.
-RM500 per team over 4 drivers (RM125 each driver)
-RM10 rebate to club member
-20 minutes non-stop qualifying, compulsary for all 4 drivers. Take average time for grid position.
-100 minutes enduro, unlimitted pit attempt.
-Max drive time per driver no more than 30 minutes and no less then 25 minutes.please comment
SAYA SETUJU DAN SOKONG!….hopefully this will attract 15 karts at least.
If the above is ok, we should immediately start a thread to seek Teams registration for 1st December 2007 (Luen?)naza
ParticipantRight Yazid,
Let me be the first to register on this thread my heartiest congrats to both Ede and Ikhwan….onwards to the WORLD FINALS!..Hello my friend, this is no ordinary feat. Make no mistake, a big part of the success is attributed to the tireless parents (rain or shine)who were always there as sponsors both financially and mentally! My-kart should take pride that they did their little part to put new talents on the front grid!….mission partly accomplished.naza
ParticipantCongrats to Ede (Masedenal Ali) for finishing as Senior overall champion for the RMC 2007 series and to Ikhwan for a 4th finish in the final round last weekened. Have to wait for the full results to know how the others have fared…Dassila, Mikko, etc….

ParticipantFolks, some update below:
AP threw yet another fire cracker into the CRG + 100cc package. He is seriously thinking of the option to offer my-kart the CRG + Rotax Max 125 Junior instead of the CRG + PRD 100 package. This is subject to him acquiring up to 12 Rotax Junior engines (he has already 6 units now), in time for my-kart Grand Finale on 1st December 2007 (Luen, better book this date early bro!)
….just wait for his reply to Luen’s recent email.

Participant
bro naza, have AP replied with the rental price yet?
Not yet but I intend to call him today.
Its all about Discipline!

1. 24 Nov
2. 1 Dec

Looks like Team Novice will be coming back into action again at the end of this year.
….suggest a date now laaa!
naza
ParticipantI have asked AP to quote a discounted rate to my-kart club and he promised to respond by Tuesday including the email about the CRG/100cc that Luen recently sent to CK.
By the way, The Grand Finale could look like so:
65cc cadet race – K4
80cc race – K3
100 cc – K2 (CRG/100cc is possible)
125cc race – K1
2 hour hyper enduro race….goooooddzzzz! (whats the right spelling anyway?)

Participant

Question : What is the date for “PAID MEMBER SINCE”?
since 1 Jan 2007. All expiry date on 31 Dec 2007. We are going with this approach because it is simpler administratively. At this point, I do not think we can handle multiple expiry dates (as on rolling 12 months).
I note the last date of payment being 31 March – but this is purely the date for eligibility to participate in the AGM.
Ok than, the same dates for every paid member will appear on their ID.
naza
ParticipantCommittee members, a question on membership ID
Question : What is the date for “PAID MEMBER SINCE”?
Members have paid as early as 3rd Feb to as late as 7th July 2007 ; Or shall we just take it as 1 Jan 07 for everyone regardless? In that case “EXPIRY DATE” will be 31 Dec 2007. (Our AGM was on 28th April 2007)
However, clause 7.2 states that all membership fees must be paid before 31st March of each year failing which the member will not be allowed to attend, vote or be voted in the next AGM.
The other option is to take 1st April 2007 for the “PAID MEMBER SINCE” and 30th March 2008 as “EXPIRY DATE”. The next AGM must take place not later than 31 May 2008 (clause 12.2).
