I am not sure bro. Let me check. I remebered that I took only the Final A and 1st Qualifying from each classes but who knows if I made mistake it may well be recorded. Semalam was a tiring day for me, took Ikhwan to Sepang and wow it was like a Race Day. So many teams were they trying out. You should have been there. Swisshutless team was like a benchmark, As the team went out some of the others went out too. Thanks for encouragement and guidance that he received from both you & tarmizi. Ray was happy with his performance yesterday as he can now pair with Hasif very well as a team.

Anyway….

The K2 Qualifying 1 Group A

Few more coming… but not today. Have to be up north until Wed. That few more videos are yet to be downloaded to my PC at home. Patient…
Thanks bro, take your time. Happy to help the young man however possible.
Quoted from razmyn

‘sadly tho…i find it rather sad to find not many guys from K3 would like to be volunteers when asked…i tried to recruit some to help with the K3 (C)Finals but not a single person responded…& i felt like a looney when everyone was looking at me with some WTH expression on their faces…yaaaahh…i know..i know i looked funny with my “botak head” hair style but i would have done it myself if not for my own K2(A) Finals coming up next…very sad indeed :(‘

This issue shoud have been solved long time ago. Not to pin point anyone but i could only see regular people to help volunteer sorting out karts. Some of them do help Zainudin, Ramzul, ed, wilson and mostly new cummers from k2 (k3 grad) have to help sorting out the karts for k3 too. Only same faces would volunteer.
….yeah, we gotta work on this problem…..lets talk soon…..next TT session when?

Folks,

The message I have advised all the time to my kids and friends is to be 200% alert to avoid wheel contact….motorsports is not a contact sport like Rugby !

Thanks Yazid, that video clip in slow motion showed the rear wheel lifting into the air, than sliding sideways and finally overturn. It looked like his rear wheel has ran over the adjacent rear which caused the lift. There is no point pointing fingers but the most important thing to remember is every driver must try their best to avoid wheel contact.

Fazz is fast……yes, his own experience has something to do with that.

…was just thinking after discussions with Luen on tomorrow’s race order. Can the following work? ….so that drivers can be guided.

Assuming k1 – 1 group only, k2 – 2 groups (K2A and K2B) , k3 3 groups (k3A,k3B, k3C):

HEAT 1
Race 1 – k3A
Race 2 – k2A
Race 3 – k3B
Race 4 – k2B
Free Practice – K1 (5 laps)
Race 5 – k3C
Race 6 – k1

HEAT 2
Race 1 – k3A
Race 2 – k2A
Race 3 – k3B
Race 4 – k2B
Race 5 – k3C
Race 6 – k1

FINAL
Race 1 – K3 Final C
Race 2 – K2 Final B
Race 3 – K3 Final B
Race 4 – K2 Final A
Race 5 – K3 Final A
Race 6 – K1 Final.

Comments please!

Much depends on the number of karts available and time window currently agreed with CK ( 2 pm ). If the number of drivers keep climbing, we have to book beyond 2 pm and live with paying more…….if we can afford it with the volume increase. In my view, the mix of K1, K2 and K3 races has very strong appeal which is sort of similar to AAM sanctioned races involving cadet, junior, senior and veteran categories running together. This K1/K2/k3 mix is a great showcase of skill progression all in one day to newbies who will be attracted to try karting……..in other words try our best to keep it in one day……until my-Kart club have full time staff….if it ever come to that.

Round 3 will be a test of of mykart management and resources. If the situation warrants it, some of us might volunteer to suit up for races but may not drive….hehehe.

looks alright to me – except that i do not understand the RM180 fee for extension beyond 2pm… how does that work?
Fazz / Muhaymin,
..In other words, if a K1 driver decides to continue practicing after the K1 race is over, after 2 pm, he will be charged as per usual practice fee of RM 180 /day and not RM 100.

I believe AP wanted to make sure that the RM 100 fee is valid only for the mykart K1 race (up to 2 pm) and not to be taken as a ticket to practice for the entire day.

…what about registered members who have paid their fees runnning in K2 and K3 events?
Good question!

Need to look at the member benefits again. If I remember correctly, paid registered members will get a RM10 discount on the current price.
…thats correct. Shall we give the discount beginning Rd 3?…need the committee’s concensus.
