Summary – the starter holds a very crucial role. Get experienced volunteers, brief ur drivers again. Training for starter should be done and I can help.cheers.
Thanks again Jules. Hope you can be around in Rd 3 so that marshalls and starters can be briefed the proper way of doing this procedure.naza

Gaaammme! But first need to buy the CRG chassis dulu! 😛
I can be your agent if you delegate some power to me to start nego a good CRG chassis. I saw one nice CRG in plastic wraps hanging in the workshop…..no takers yet I hope. Jangan tunggu lama lama, la la la! cos the recently K1 race Rd 1 has raised the level of interest in CRG chassis.naza
ParticipantNot just marshalling, also act as my-kart cop and will give the offending driver a ticking off…..lol!

ParticipantThe following post was transferred from another thread:
CK’s mechanics is not too happy with having to frequently fix and unfix the ballast before every race to the affected karts. He suggested that every driver will be given a pair of spanners (FOC) and fix / unfix the ballasts themselves. Personally, I thought its doable along with some simple pre race checks as follows:
– Check tyres and tyre pressures (0.9 bar cold, recommended by CK)
– check radiator coolant level – ordinary tap water
– check drive chain tension- too loose can cause the chain to snap or jump out of the sprocket.
– check battery is securely fastened – bad contact can cause power loss or engine to stop / and wont start at all.
– check fuel level whether adequate
– Report anything loose, especially the ballasts.Guys, we got to learn to do this to ensure that the kart remains in top condition. These CRG karts are full racing specs type and will serve the driver well if we take care to do the simple checks above. We are not suppose to mess around with the engine or carburettor to ensure a level playing field….moreover CK owns it.

ParticipantLets go for it. I dont think its too difficult to secure the track and a few karts to cut videos from uncle AP.

It helps a person like me who could not attend a full season but would like race whenever I’m around during the race series.Junior Max is a good option for me becos I could have my son running on it too. Since the kart would be hardly run during my absence, I would not like to have the power valve of Senior Max sticking while taking it out for a ride.
I believe using transponder is the best option here.
Its nice to hear from you Patrick….macam merajok je…..hehehe!
After the recently concluded rd 1, I was grinning all the way home cos racing within a pack of 10 CRG /Junior max karts is really thrilling and exciting…….satisfied! In fact, I am thinking of renting a 125 Junior Max, install it on my kart and run together with the CRGs….that will make sense. Where’s the fun if there’s only a handful of Senior Max karts to race with. I will make a date with AP to talk about this….you game?
