our k4 (50 cc) series cannot start because I see only one cadet 50cc kart. Guess my-KART should look seriously into this avenue to discover young bloods into sport if AP is serious with his words.
…That look in his eyes was dead serious..I tak berani continue the conversation …!

….time is on your side bro, I believe…hehehe!

This afternoon, as I watched our President coaching his sons, I jokingly told AP that our k4 (50 cc) series cannot start because I see only one cadet 50cc kart. To which he retorted ” I say my friend, there is nothing AP cannot provide to his customers if there is demand…..I will prepare 5 cadet karts 50cc within 2 days if mykart is really serious about this!”

Glad you did make it this afternoon despite a threatening and downcast day, rain was kept at bay…..errr due to the Rain Man’s handiwork, so he claimed..! Hopefully after the few runs on the 80 and 100 cc karts, you can now begin to appreciate the finer aspects of choosing different racing lines and techniques for each of the machine…..and soon on the 125. For now, practice what you have got and remember this hint: turn all cornors into staright lines…hehehe!

    Zul,
I believe you are by now quite familiar with the basics of braking, turn in, throttle up, aim for the apex, use every inch of the road upon exit, yes? The websites are a definite big help but understanding what the experts are talking about and the racing jargon the mat sallehs used is another challenge!

There is a lot one can learn by asking (dont be shy – our sifu will understand), watching (I use to do secret videos on a few experts – thanks to my earlier paparazzi training) and attending some of the Rotax or KKS club races, just to watch and time some of the established Malaysian racers……that took about 1 year…for me and junior that is.

So, other than reading, come to CK this Sat, 1 pm thereabout and run practices with us. A few mykarters will be at hand to share whatever we collectively can…Forza my-KART!
No point having the latest approved helmet without fastening it properly. PERIOD.
…..in fact no point having ANY helmet if it was not fastened properly. That reminds me….must check whether my family members know how to fasten them properly.

Maybe, we introduce “how to fasten the helmet properly” briefing in mykart’s monthly races similar to MAS stewardess briefing on how to fasten seat belt, life jacket….etc……but we dont have mykart stewardess (our own Steward AROC? …….no?).
