Yup. The painter must know and follow the guidelines provided by FIA chapter 3 rule 1.4(check link below). You think these people would aware of it?
http://www.fia.com/resources/documents/1797101136__Appendix_L_a.pdf
None of the paint shops I visited have any idea what is the effect of air brushing helmets let alone what Chapter 3 says. To make it worse, the manufacturer did warn of negative effects on the outer shell layer if we use the wrong painting procedure (what procedure?). I guess there are certain steps to be taken before applying any paint on the shell. Gotta do some more study……aiyaaah!
In fact, if you look closely, quite a few drivers just use self adhesive stickers, custom designed, but its not as smooth as air brushing…..tak cun!
Maybe someone can ask the AIGP Malaysia fellas or even Alex Yoong himself or Seb Loeb or…..

woooohooooo!!!
Razmyn…The Bully!!hehehehe;)
What Bully? its the biggest and meanest Malaysian buaya they have ever seen la! …and that is without the karikebab yet huh?
Anyway, you owe it to mykart for topping all qulifiers and the Final. Winning against owners of Corvettes, Porsches, etc is always a nice feeling ain’t it? Next time drive a kancil to the track (if you can find one) and show them what Malaysians are made of.
Now is the time to start mykart club Emirates branch cos we can’t wait to hold our finals in Emirates, fare and lodging provided by El Etihad (can discuss la how much?)
Finally, you need to practice with us and hope you will find the next time soon. But be careful Capt, cos El Etihad may decide to offer you as their ace race driver instead….LOL!

Participant
First of all a very big thank you to Naza, Nohad, Azmee, ST, Siangwei, Melvin and Tarmizi for your participations and supports of the event.
Congrats to you Sam and your colleagues, for the smooth running of the entire day and job well done. However as motorsports enthusiasts, we plan for zero injury and mykart is no exception. I sincerely hope some sort of post race analysis be done to learn from the experience of last Sunday in interest of safety for the benefit of future races.
Thanks once again.

Lesson learnt from this event, need more flag marshals who know how to use blue flag (to warn slower drivers that faster drivers are lapping them) when holding such an event or in our future events with slow & inexperience drivers racing among experience drivers as I find it very dangerous as the inexperience drivers normally don’t watch their back when coming to a corner and they could suddenly cut into your line when you least expect.
Bro, I was taught a very valuable lesson and something I woud remember for quite a while. I use to secretly laugh at the Kimi – Liuzzi type accidents where the rear kart climbs and piggy ride the front kart. Man, it happened to me and I was really worried about injuring him bad. I drew alongside him, looked and looked at him. Boy, was I relieved when he signaled thumbs up….apologies to whoever it was. I was not able to identify him even after the race. I beleived that he sudddenly reduced speed to let me pass and it was just too late for me to back off.
Sorry mate, that kart No.13 just left me standing…like a jack rabbit…..bah!
Thanks to you, junior and Anis, I enjoyed the afternoon real good. Will team USJ feature again in the future…..who knows!

AND THE THROPHY…
Yah leh! Need to proof Proof of Attendance at MLF and winning a trophy is not a cerita cerita angin only.
And Naza need to show the minister why he overstayed his visa permit. :-D
True, true, very true……need that trophy as proof that there was actually a charity race. The long sleeve T – shirt I showed is not good enough for the Minister…..sigh!
