Yup, will love to. Just wondering this USJ 1/1 is near which part of USJ 1.

According to Ed, take the road leading to Giant and after you passed it, turn right looking for USJ1/1 row of industrial lots….naza

Participant

After witnessing how Fazz & a couple others struggle and sliding out of the wet patch at the last corner (while marshalling at the start/finish) before the start/finish line definitely knocked my confidence level down a few pegs.
Coming to think of it, I don’t remember seeing Steward slide on that wet patch.
So heavier weight is an advantage on wet tracks?
Sure does but he is also an accomplished driver too and that was evident when the track became drier.

Participant
Can I tag along too if on the 21st?
Participant
Are these karts expensive to maintain? also, the availability of parts?
I dare say maintenance will cost as much as the 100 cc rental karts at City karting. I have seen the chasiss and it looked fairly simple and basic and the Yamaha engine is so widely use and well known that parts should’nt be a worry.
However, ask the city karting mechanics the same question for more info / advice.

Cool… 100cc 2-stroke Yamaha at under RM9k. Sounds good. Do you know if this is locally assembled?
Yup bro, in their workshop. Assembled yes, all other processes including welding were done in Italy.
Note that the Yamaha engine is pull start, so that the driver can start or restart without the need for pushing.

Participant
I was at 911 Zentrum (now called Rosedi Motorsport). Their new Yamaha 100cc kart will be launched in January. Seems that Uncle Naza has already been there to talk to them 😉
Hope we can get an invite when they do the testing!
Yes I did bro, but he is not committing anything yet in terms of promoting the Rosedi package . Price wise, its about 12k-13k complete….but he reminded me that that is not finalised by the boss yet. This was like at least 2 months ago. Will monitor this….in case Patrick suddenly spring an inquiry on this one.

ParticipantFolks,

ParticipantI too am no expert in which is better than the other until I fulfill my dream of collecting all of them….but those fellas in city karting are a fortunate lot in this respect. Talk to Wai Leong…try that!
However, there is one thing for sure that I would advise my friends though. If and when you fall to the temptation (isn’t it dude?) of swiping that card or signing on the dotted line, be doubly sure that it is a brand with lots of spare parts back up. This is not a problem if one has a a couple or more karts.
(Oooo..h, mau beli ye!…hehehe)
