ParticipantFolks,
As of today, Wan Shin can commit up to 13 x 100 cc karts only and we have to finish by 2 pm as the karts are needed for another event. From the experience of the 1st round, we ran 2 x 80cc groups(36 drivers) and 3 x 100cc groups (21 drivers) and finished by 2pm. This is just about the limit we can do given the current condition of the 100cc karts but the 80 cc karts can perhaps cover up to 20 drivers per group. I am afraid, it could be first come first serve! Anyway, we will explore whether AP can prepare more karts by Saturday morning as I saw quite a few are undergoing repair works (wont count on it though)….will coordinate with Chief Speeding Luen.naza

how old is your son? i think he should be able to fit into a cadet kart if around 7/8 y.o.

http://www.thefazz.com/me%5B/quote%5DMy son is 6 just turned six last december (7 yo if we count in year) and his eight is 106.5cm tall and his weight is 16kgs..
I met someone last Saturday asking whether his 7 year old son can fit the cadet kart. I found that his legs could not reach the pedals. The next option is to adjust the seat nearer but that will get his front ribs too close to the steering wheel which is dangerous should he crash.naza
ParticipantLuen,
Let me do the first touch with AAM with regards to the affiliation process but is wondering whether anyone can share some experiences about this if any.24 January 2007 at 3:43 pm in reply to: Warehouse Sale – Sporting Goods, RSH – Subang Jaya – 24th-28th Jan 2007 #3931naza

ParticipantI will certainly be a keen observer as this is a national initiative to draw mat rempits away from the streets. I have my doubts whether this will work cos there is prize money, betting and ‘other considerations’ involved that really were the reasons that kept alive this foolhardiness or madness……but hopefully the rest will pick up the sports

sorry guys, missed the 14/1/07 date. any plans for this weekend?
Yeap… is planning to go to Shah Alam this Sunday… any possibilities we’re having anything like last week? And anybody should I contact when I’m there… Just making my trip there more worth while… Thank you…
Me and my very grown up kids plan to be at the track on Sunday….say at 1 pm and hopefully other mykarters too.
Rizal, Amalin, your names (and your kids’) are already in the list for cadet karts. This list was handed over to AP (Ah Piaw…the towkay or Suzie if he is not there) last week. So, do identify oyurselves as mykart members to them to enjoy the low rates for cadet karts rental.

Participant

It will be nice if this program could kick-off by next week. Get the kids to put in a few practises and soon they will be ready for regular K4 races.
Hopefully AP will prepare a few cadet karts with 80cc 2T engine for those around 11 yrs old above.
..K5 events are already underway, though 😉
..errrr…..the committee’s approval is required if anyone is proposing to include it into the dictionary.

ParticipantWhy not, I ‘ll subscribe.

Bro,
At the moment I saw only Fazz’s kids and your’s logging precious track time. We got to have more mykart kids to log practice time so that we can look squarely into AP’s eyes and justify to him more cadet karts including some with faster engines like the rental 80 cc ones…..quite fast you know.naza

Jan, 14th not good for me.. but next weekend seems perfectly okay..
No worries, we will be there tomorrow to do some karting anyway. Just continue tracking this forum for updates on weekened karting be it for our kids or grown ups.
I had reconfirm with AP about the discounted rates (as stated earlier) for mykart members and their kids. The list of parent / guardian names and their kids will be given to AP or Suzie, so you just need to introduce yourself as a mykart member to either of them.
